A note for first responders, military members, & veterans…

Therapy can feel weird, but let’s chat for a second about it.

Therapy can be hard, and what can make it harder is if you have someone talking to you who doesn’t understand your cultural experiences in work. Service in the military, or as a first responder is a very different way of living, and not everyone understands that.

Prior to launching, I worked for 4 years with active duty military members from duty stations across the country, Veterans, and first responders of all roles (RN’s, doctors, therapists, firefighters, paramedics police & federal agents). You all have specific experiences that not everyone will relate to, both in stress and sometimes in trauma too.

While I am not a Vet myself, I have had opportunity to learn a lot from you all, and hope to continue to keep learning. As such, I feel I’m able to understand and help navigate life stresses. Please feel free to reach out if you have more questions. I promise not to thank you for your service or offer you 800mg ib Proufen, and give you a safe space that you can find your feet.
