Finding your feet and returning to yourself is the key to healing and growing. I believe in a holistic approach, and use a number of different treatments to help you reconnect to yourself.

how we work

Sequoia is talk therapy, like you’ve maybe tried, but with a twist:

Nature is the anchor that keeps us grounded, and as such, I am a believer in the benefit of being out in nature as often as possible. Making a safe space matters, and wherever you want to meet, we can do so in a way that works for you. When possible, meeting outside in a park on a hike is the goal. Nature exposure is as much a tool that can assist you in healing and grounding yourself. Therapeutic hikes and walks are how these are done.

Practically, I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness based techniques, existential therapy, person centered approaches, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

We can meet online via telehealth, or we can meet outdoors. An office is in the works in the future.

I will also be offering specialized retreats on weekends soon.

We’re sort of like a sapling currently, and just getting started, so office space is pending. I am located in northwest Oklahoma City, and have a couple of options for therapy sessions. I can meet with you via telehealth online, or we can explore another option that is an ecotherapy-based approach. There’s a whole experience that can happen talking about what you want to work on while you’re on a walk outside. It’s really good. But, if that’s not your speed, no worries – we’ve got you covered with teletherapy.
