THERAPIST
Thomas Riffey, LPC
I’m a local to Oklahoma City. I have grown up and lived in here my whole life. I have had a lot of experiences in life that have shaped me as a person, some great, and some terrible. So when I say that I get feeling overwhelmed, I can say so honestly. I’ve also benefitted from my own therapy. (Ask me about my therapist sometime if you want. If your therapist doesn’t have a therapist, I think that’s unfortunate)
I think it’s important to note that if I believe in the process of doing work, that I am also willing to sit in my own growth and healing.
I believe in the value of connecting with people, and doing so in a way that is safe and judgement free. Grab a coffee or a tea to bring along to session, and we’ll get to work.
If you’re wondering about education, I have a Bachelor’s in psychology from UCO in Edmond, and my Master’s in counseling psychology from SNU in Bethany. If you have questions, feel free to schedule an intro call with me, or email me at thomas@sequoiamentalhealth.com.
