you are your biggest adventure.
find your feet. reclaim your strength.
Are you finding yourself disconnected from your own life? Stressed out, spread too thin, and wondering where you went off the trail?
If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or just feeling like crap, I get it. And guess what I learned going through it?
You don’t have to carry it alone.
Sequoia trees interlace their roots to hold each other up and share in each other’s growth. And therapy is the same process. It’s about finding your roots, finding your peace, your joy, and having someone with you can change everything.
why sequoia mental health?
Sequoia Mental Health isn’t just “talk therapy.” It’s grounded in movement. We put you in spaces that you can connect to, and use tools that help you connect to yourself. Forget sitting on a couch, this is about nature being the healing space it always has been.
Find a better connection outside.
With yourself. With your family.
Sequoia utilizes eco-therapy and evidence based practices like ACT, DBT, and mindfulness to find a plan unique to you. No cookie cutter approaches out on the trail. You are unique, and so is your care.
Sequoia Mental Health offers flexibility, and can do telehealth sessions if you prefer (or if the weather isn’t friendly outside).
who this is for
If you:
- Feel you’ve been on empty for miles, and are stuck
- Struggle with overthinking, feeling you’re too much, or you feel overwhelmed the moment you wake up
- Want therapy that feels real, and not stuffy or too clinical
- Dream of peace, clarity, and feel you can move forward
then out on the trail with Thomas might be the place for you.
your first step on the path
Healing is like hiking: you won’t get there in one step overnight. But the first step is the one that can make the most difference.
This is a gift to yourself, from your future self.

in-person and remote options
Because Sequoia Mental Health is built around walking sessions and online sessions we do not currently have an office space. I am located in northwest Oklahoma City. I can meet with you via telehealth online, or at a park/trail.
To do an ecotherapy session, you do not have to be an avid hiker or outdoorsy type, just someone who has an open mind and a willingness to try a new context to process.
